Website Visitors

Aria Chatbot Users
- Chat messages you send to the chatbot
- Your name, if you provide it during conversation

Business Owners (Aria Clients)
When you connect your Google account to Aria, we request the following permissions:
- Gmail Read Access — to read incoming emails so Aria can generate intelligent auto-replies on your behalf
- Gmail Send Access — to send replies from your email address
- Gmail Modify Access — to mark emails as read after replying, preventing duplicate responses
- Google Calendar Access — to create calendar events when a booking or appointment is detected in an email or chat conversation
3. How We Use Your Data
- Chat messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate responses. Messages are not used to train AI models.
- Email content is read only to generate auto-replies and detect bookings. We do not store email content beyond the active session.
- Contact details collected through chat are shared with the business owner so they can follow up with you.
- Calendar events are created in the business owner's Google Calendar only when a booking is detected.
- OAuth tokens are stored securely on our server to maintain your Google connection. They are encrypted in transit and at rest.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Anthropic — chat and email messages are processed by Claude AI to generate responses
- Google — to access Gmail and Calendar via their APIs on your behalf
- The business owner — lead information and chat transcripts are available to the business whose website you're using
5. Data Retention
- Chat session data is retained for up to 90 days for lead tracking and quality purposes
- Email content is not stored — it is read, processed, and discarded in real time
- OAuth tokens are stored for as long as your Google account remains connected
- You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Disconnect your Google account at any time through our platform or via Google Account Permissions
7. Google API Services
AireyAi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We only use Google data for the purposes described in this policy
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide our service (Anthropic AI processing)
- We do not use Google data for advertising or marketing purposes
- We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless you give explicit consent, it is required for security purposes, or it is required by law
8. Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. OAuth tokens and sensitive data are stored on secure, access-controlled servers hosted on Railway. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.
9. Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies for essential functionality only. The Aria chatbot uses local storage to maintain your chat session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
